Dejan Kulusevski - In January Spurs signed Sweedish International Dejan Kulusevski on loan from Juventus, many people were skeptical of the former Serie A Best Young Player but Kulu was quick to shut them up with a classy game against the premier league reigning champions with 1 goal and a late beautiful cross to Kane to win the game.
Dejan has quick feet that complement his high footballing IQ. Kulu offers something
that Lucas Moura failed to provide and that is width along with a beautiful cut in from the wing. Kulu has quick passing that helps him distribute the ball to the center of the
field quickly when in a clumsy situation.
Dejan has 6 G/A in 9 games in the premier league and perfectly accompanies Harry Kane and Heung Min Son in Spurs attack.
Rodrigo Bentancur - In January Tottenham were close to signing a deal for Moroccan midfielder Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina, But the rumors were quickly shut down when news arrived that Paratici was close to signing Rodrigo Bentancur. Paratici signed the Uruguayan from Juventus on 19m + bonuses.
Bentancur has proved to be a solid partner to Hojberg in midfield offering runs,
Creativity and skill in tight issue (all the stuff Ndombele was signed to do) which was missing in midfield.
This doesn't mean Bentancur has been perfect for Tottenham, He has had his fair share of bad games for Spurs with the prime example being the game against
Manchester United where he lost possession continuously in midfield trying to make the clever passes. Bentancur is still in the process of adapting to the Premier League.
It will be exciting to see how Bentancur fairs with Oliver Skipp when he returns from injury.
